I can login to MyBt with my BTID and password on BT.com but when I try using the user name and password on the MyBT app, I first get the page asking for a PIN then a confirmation of the PIN then I get a message that there is no BTID so I'm redirected to enter the account number which is accepted but then I get the message that the account already exists in my profile, which of course it does, anyone with a similar experience and a solution to the problem?

Yes i have experienced issues which sound similar to your on the MyBT app.
a right pain to use , will normally "work" if i perserve and restart.
I notice several reviews on Play store reporting similar issues.
Unclear if developers are aware.
