New Norton Anti-Virus Software/App

Hi BT Forum,

I have a Moto G4 mobile running Android 7 and I understand that the new Norton anti-virus software will not work on this operating system and earlier versions.

Is this true?

Is there a way of having the new Norton software on my mobile without me changing to a new mobile with a newer operating software?
