Noticed this big update from Norton on a couple of computers and has introduced loads of new processes and has taken up so many resources (after leaving it a day or 2 to settle down) that I've had to zap it.
Is this a known issue with Norton in general or just the BT provided one? Anyone noticed anything?
EDIT. is this process list ok?
Last November, I bought a brand new laptop that had Norton security pre-installed on it. I had to completely purge my laptop of it which wasn't as easy as one might think. Norton provide an uninstall program which actually doesn't, or it didn't, remove all of the program. I ended up having to do a deep file search where I found 4 Norton folders still intact which were causing my computer issues every time I switched it on. Once I'd purged those, the problems went away forever.
