I cannot download Norton to a new device - Surface Laptop 7 with Windows 11. I get as far as the Norton installation screen but then get an error message - "A problem has occurred that needs your attention: This process is unable to continue due to a system service that may not be installed or cannot be started. Please repair your installation of Windows before continuing." There is also a link to "Go to Technical Support Web Site".
I have followed all the suggestions to fix the problem but I still get the same error message. I have been 'chatting' with 3 different agents at Norton and was eventually told the Norton software cannot be downloaded because it is not compatible with the ARM-based processor on my laptop and there is nothing they can do about it.
Could anyone advise please is there is any way I can get this resolved.
