I am having the same problem. The parental controls are not blocking anything. Pornographic sites are freely accessible on every windows pc/laptop in the house. I have two sons 12 and 13 and I do not want them accessing this content. We are not on a VPN. When I reset the router, this fixes the problem for a few hours, but then the issue recurs.
I had the same problem back in May/June 2024. It was intensely frustrating and took many messages and phone calls (over a period of about two months) to resolve.
If anyone from BT can help me resolve this I would be grateful. Otherwise I will have to use the complaints process.

The controls rely on using BTs DNS servers, so any device that does not use them, or the user has changed the settings on their device, then they will not work, as filtering only works with the BT ones.
It doesn’t sound like the same issue I had but for what it’s worth the problem for me was that the Apple private relay had activated which is a VPN.
Thanks for this, Keith.
How can I check whether a Windows PC/laptop is using the BT DNS servers?
