It should be the same as your BTID username and password.

If you have changed your password recently, try using the old password.

With the ubiquity of free wifi these days, BTWiFi isn't really necessary.

Re: What is my BT i.d for accessing a BT wi-fi hotspot ?

so,  I was using my normal login credentials to log in to my own hotspot at home , which I knew should be the way to do it, and eventually, after many failed attempts rang the help desk to be told " you have to select BT Broadband from the drop down options ," ... NOT BT wi-fi ?  oh .. ok ..I thought . So I did this, logged in straight away , yipee .

Hope this helps anyone wanting to get BB from a hot spot when out and about

Ah yes, I keep forgetting the drop down defaults to the 'wrong' option. Well pointed out.

Well, I wonder if there is a need for the drop down " wi-fi " option . I didnt ask the help desk , wish i had done because if there is never a need, the option may as well be removed ??

It's there for the non-BT Broadband customers that have purchased BT WiFi minutes.

Of course, makes perfect sense now.
