Windows 11s and Norton
I cannot download Norton on to my laptop as it has windows 11s. If I change to windows 11 will I be able to get Norton? Has anyone done this?

Because I don't want to be restricted to microsoft store or to pay for microsoft office!

@Imogen welcome to the community and thanks for posting, yes if you opt-out of S mode then you will be able to download BT Virus protect with Norton. I've included a link to a Microsoft article that explains how you can do that.

Windows defender is included with Windows 11 and it is free.

You do not need to use the Microsoft Store or pay for Microsoft Office in order to use Microsoft Defender even although you have restricted yourself to only using apps from the Microsoft Store by using Windows 11s.
Microsoft Defender is already installed on your Windows device and it is designed for Windows and just works away in the back ground with no issues such as those that you will find when or if you get Norton to work with Windows 11s.
