Hello,
I use the Amazon Prime app via my DTR-T2100 YouView box and it's not working properly. Might anyone be able to advise on how to fix it?
The app is generally glitchy: video content and new pages are very slow to load, with it hanging on the revolving circle loading screens for a long time; it's very slow to respond to commands from the remote; and it often kicks me out of the app in the middle of streaming a programme.
I've powered the box off and on but that doesn't help. When I checked box settings yesterday (27 June), it said it had last checked for apps and updates on 27 June; that software is "up to date"; but that "we can't update your Apps". It told me to go to bt.com/tverrors for help, but because the screen didn't give an error code, I couldn't get help there.
I've attached photos showing the box settings and error message in case these help.
I'd be very grateful for any suggestions!
Thanks,
Rajan
As Youview doesn't provide for deleting and reinstalling Apps on a individual basis a box maintenance mode reset (there are options to preserve recordings ) would reinstall the app and would typically be worth trying.
Hello,
Thank you for the quick reply.
My YouView box is DTR-T2100, but the instructions for entering maintenance mode at the link below only mention T-2000 or T-1xxx. Should I follow the T-2000 instructions? If not, please could you point me to the right instructions?
Thanks!
Rajan

Youview have recently withdrawn their direct customer support so that is why you no longer see instuctions for maintenasnce mode resets for your box model on their support pages.
BT's instructions are at

Hello,
Thank you for directing me to the BT page.
I’ve now gone through maintenance mode and done a factory reset (keeping recordings), but the Amazon app is still malfunctioning in exactly the same way!
Is there anything else you could recommend I try?
Thanks,
Rajan
Quite honestly your best bet would be to get an Amazon Firestick or a Roku streamer providing you can get wifi where your TV is located.
