Are CEX legit ?

Looking to buy a Pro box as an alternative to a very slow and hot multiroom box.

I have noticed that CEX are selling Pro boxes with 24 months warranty for a reasonable £120.

Hoping to get a firm answer to whether this is a legit way to go. I know what the T & Cs say so how can CEX openly sell the boxes with 24 month warranty.

Are CEX openly selling stolen property or is this simply something that someone has sold to CEX and paid a fine to BT. Do BT care and if so why don’t they stop CEX.

Wish BT would give a response as it’s a good solution for me but no good if it gets bricked a few months later. Maybe could use the 24 month warranty for that if it stands for anything.

Thanks.

Re: Are CEX legit ?

CEX are perfectly legitimate and the question is how the seller came to own the Pro Box. The seller possibly subscribed to BT TV, cancelled and paid a fee to BT to retain ownership of the box and has subsequently sold the box to CEX.
