Are more Freeview channels coming to internet mode?

Internet mode was launched quite a good while ago. More HD channels and those in SD afforded more bandwidth and look so much better than via the aerial.
However, we are still missing key channels from the standard terrestrial lineup:
- UKTV (Dave, W, Yesterday etc)
- Great! channels
- Talking Pictures
(Not so bothered about the shopping or +1 channels)
Any news on when some of these might materialise?

Re: Are more Freeview channels coming to internet mode?

The latest incarnation of Freeview called Freely should be launching early 2024.  The idea being that it puts all streaming UK TV content in a single app.  There should be more channels in it, and catch-up should be easier.  Note that there's a lot of "should be" in there!
You'd hope the BT TV Box Pro is going to be using the service, but it's coming introduction appears to have delayed new boxes from Humax, and Manhattan!

More channels may come along when BT TV changes to EE TV but who knows.

As far as I am aware Freely is just coming as pre loaded onto new TVs when it is launched.

Who knows what other devices it will be available on unless I have missed something
