Hi All,
Another user fed up with Sky price increases, I’m on BT broadband (g fast) cannot move to EE yet, as no full fibre in my area.
looking at the BT TV options, looks like I can get most of the sky content for less than half the price of what I pay now.
Anyone know what box you get through BT? Also, I can find the HD now TV boost, but is there a way to add the 4k boost after?
ta!
You have a choice of boxes
A recordable pro box or a apple tv box
Sky don't sell the UHD packages to third parties so it's Sky or now tv bought directly
The EE pro box also dosnt have disney plus if that's important to you
Yet again! The apple tv box is only on EE broadband.
If the op stays on BT (as asked) it's the pro box that is provided
@AlexHaden2013 Plenty of people have come unstuck when moving from Sky to EETV by not asking the right questions and assuming that it works in the same way and has all of the functions and features that they were used to with Sky. It doesn’t - so if something is important to you it’s best to check on here first.
The NOW ULTRA BOOST is not currently available due to problems with the EE ordering system. However, BT/EE have a contractual obligation to deliver it from their agreement with Sky, despite what has been suggested on here.
Do you realise how silly that sounds?
UHD has been available on Now for the last two years ..just how long would it take to sort out the ordering?
EE tv is a middle man buying now tv and selling it on
Sky are keeping UHD for themselves
What part of contractual obligation is it that you can’t understand?
Thank you 🙂
Cheers, totally understand that it’s a world apart from how easy Sky has been, it’s almost 30 years so anything else is going to be a learning curve 🤣
I’m now at the point where I refuse to pay 2 increases per year, and still have to watch endless adverts 🤦🏼
Endless adverts? How come?
Because you have to pay Sky £5 to add skip
