I've just signed up to BT's Home Essential deal - it's reducing my internet cost, I'm getting a higher speed, a new line and a free handset with unlimited calls! I've got to thank the Money Saving Forum, never heard tell of this package before searching their forum for broadband deals.
Now that my costs have greatly decrease I'm thinking of a digital recording box. What's the BT box like and can I get a discount? At the moment I have a Humax HDR fox t2 recordable box (300 hours recording). I have two televisions.
Would appreciate any views

Hi
If you are an existing BT Broadband user you can get the BT TV Pro recording box, Now TV Entertainment and Netflix basic for £6 a month for 24 months, but will increase in line with the consumer price index every April.
This will be for a limited time offer so I would recommend you be quick before it goes back to £17 a month!

Home Essentials is a social tariff to provide essential services like phone and broadband at an affordable cost.
TV and other BT/EE services are seen as a luxury, you'll pay the standard cost on them.
