BT My View Box

I no longer have a BT TV subscription.

However I still have my BT My View Box (which is mine), can I still uses this box to record etc, BT advised that I would use all the freeview channels if I cancelled my subscription, would I need to connect the BT My View Box to my TV is a different way.

It should continue to  function as a retail Youview box.

It really is about time that BT customer service staff were properly educated about BT TV and what the Youview box will or won't do when you end your subscription.

The only thing that happens is that you'll lose access to the subscription channels and any recordings from those channels.

The other thing to watch out for is that if the box was supplied after 13/12/2019 then it's on loan and should be returned or a fee will be charged. I'm assuming that you're in the clear here.
