Is it me or has this 'update' made the pro box even quieter? 

It's driving me mad I now have to knock it up yet a few more numbers to be able to hear it.  Thought they were meant to be fixing this not making it worse.

I haven't noticed any issues with the sound but the Pro Box has always had a lower default volume level than our other devises. What I have noticed with the updates, is that the Pro Box is now very stable and reliable

Yes for sure I agree it's stable and reliable but the sound level is terrible. I believe this has now got even worse with the latest update. Frustrating.

It's not really a biggy for me because we have a chunky soundbar so just turn the volume up a couple of digits.

@NigelB72  I've got a soundbar too, it's a shame they haven't fixed the auto switching between 2.1/5.1/Dobly issue. Given up now, leave it in stereo.

@scharter tbh I gave up with surround sound at home years ago... Too much faff with the speakers and soundbars just don't do it justice unless you have all the extra speakers which just bring the faff again... I'm happy as long as I've not got to listen to the tinny sounds from the TV speakers 🤣

Can you tell me what you mean with more stable and reliable? I complained to bt about my picture being "jittery", like buffering on certain programs, I did the upgrade in software on Friday and my picture has now settled down, but it took till Saturday to do this. BT are sending me out a new box but don't know if I need it now.

@Ian53 there used to be a few instability bugs on various apps and BT Sport HDR but since the update that introduced Streaming terrestrial, it's been rock solid with no issues at all

Hi again, thanks for that, yeah I got it in various selected programs, my wife used to get it a lot on her "soap operas" on itv and bbc, but they have all settled since Saturday, it seemed to take over a day after I installed the new software update to settle, I found that strange, but thanks for replying.

@Ian53 I found the differences immediate after the update but it took a while to notice that certain things that used to cause a crash, no longer do...
