I switched my box on at the wall today and initially my TV message told me no solignal was beingnreceived. So I unplugged, waited a while, then tried again. When the box booted up, I was presented with the "Set box up now" page and the "GO" button highlighted.
(After waiting 39 mins on hold) I spoke to customer services and the advised me to go ahead with set up and told me that the box would not have reset itself so my recordings should be intact. I had to press the home button and 9 on the remote to do this as pressing OK would not work.
So, after the box was set up again all my recordings had gone. The girl on the phone told me that she had never witnessed this before and lodged a complaint on my account.
Has this happened anyone else? J am now reluctant to record anything on the box as I fear it will just be a matter of time before the problem reoccurs.
