BT TV recordings automatically deleted when partially watched?

Each time we partially watch a recording, stop playback and watch something else…..the partially watched recording then disappears when we return to watch it. I can only assume it’s being automatically deleted - but have no idea how or why?

Anyone else experienced this? It’s so frustrating and has now happened on 3 occasions.

Have you set it to confirm deletions in Settings? If not it's possible they're being deleted by accident when the delete key (which is also the Subtitle key) is touched.

Or are you very short of space & an automatic deletion is happening?

your most recent recordings will appear on the home page under RECORDINGS & WATCHLIST

to access the full list you need to select the MY TV +  tile  there which gives the full list when selecting Recordings 

Is this how you are looking for your recordings ?

on the Recordings page there is a indication of how much space  remains free  . what percentage free do you see on your box ?

I thought this only happened to me! It’s SOOO annoying! Every single time now I have to watch the whole program cos I know when I go back later it’s disappeared!   Any advice would be really helpful

Hi. Not fully solved problem as I don’t know WHY it’s happening? But for now I will LOCK my recordings and see if that works. Thank you. 👍🏼
