Try this:-

have read the thread...but will have to wait till get time to take tv off wall to put optical cable in instead of HDMI like it says...but not holding my breath that it will work.....
will let you know when get time to try it...
Oh no, don’t do that - it’s a terrible fix in cases where ARC can operate, which yours is, and by the time you have the BT remote able to operate such an optical solution, it will be able to operate the ARC solution anyway.
I was trying to quote just one post, but instead I got - and posted - a link to the whole thread 😢
So I have had to go the roundabout Bookmark route, to get this link to the one post I intended to bring to your attention:-

(I’ve checked, and this does show what I intended).
@DarrenDev (or any BT Admin)
Can you please ask whoever is in charge of this, is it possible we could please have Permalink enabled in the options? That picks up the particular posting rather more easily than going the roundabout bookmark route, and you can see how it works on, say, the Now Community, also Khoros-based.
Do we know if the Pro box remote is supposed to be able to control Itsme2’s TCL TV? There are a couple of codes for TCL in the Humax list, but I don’t know if these carry across to the Pro.
Indeed, is there a list anywhere like the Humax list, but for the Pro, that lists the makes, and maybe the models, that it covers?
And I though I saw a hint somewhere that you could use codes if the Pro remote couldn’t get control by the auto route, though maybe that involves using an earlier, IR, remote?
So it does (now I have learned how to right-click on an iPad!) Thanks.
