BT youview box not scheduling series’s

Our BT youview has stopped setting up scheduled series's. At the moment any programme that is part of a series is shown as scheduled up to next Wednesday, any future episodes I’ve had to enter individually. Anybody got a solution? TIA

@6412  This could be a specific problem with your TV box or a wider issue with programme data provided to the box EPG by your local transmitter or Youview. 

To determine which you need to provide some examples of the programmes that are not being scheduled, ie channel number (including regional variation) , programme start time/date , which TV box you are using , and  if a BOX Pro whether you are using the box in aerial or IP mode. 

If it is a box specific issue then resetting the box back to the original factory setting  ( options exist to keep existing recordings or do full reset which might be necessary if your  box scheduler neeeds to be cleared).

It’s affecting all the main stream channels, an example is we have a programme such as The One Show set to record all week as a series record but this week it was not showing past Wednesday. We have another recorder (not BT) which has not experienced this problem so don’t think it can be a transmission problem.

Update, I’ve gone into settings to do a reset but the option to retain my recordings has disappeared and I can only do a full reset which I don’t want to do. I’ve also done a reboot but the problem still remains. Before I contact BT itself any suggestions?

Hey there @6412 😊

The process for resetting your box whilst keeping recordings differs depending on the model of box you're using, but is usually via the buttons on the front rather than the menus.

Thanks for this advice, used the box controls rather than the remote and fingers crossed all is now ok.
