Blank screen
After getting the latest update to my youview box yesterday morning, this morning I just have a blank screen. I have tried switching the box off and on at the wall, I have tried a different hdmi cable and port and I have tried a reset but still nothing. I can't see any guides or settings. I have had nothing but trouble with this box since I got it last March. Usually I get black blocks on the screen, can't rewind live tv without it crashing, unable to access apps without unplugging the box etc but have put up with this so far. However I draw the line at no picture at all. Anyone else had this? Do I need a new box or is there anything else I can try?

Re: Blank screen
You need a new box. It sounds like you needed a new box months ago 😢

Re: Blank screen
The nagging worry shared by all YouView users with cherished or unwatched recordings, and no way to preserve them if the box fails 😢
Neatly solved by the Apple TV box, which doesn’t record, although that is a rather Draconian ‘solution’.

Re: Blank screen
Hi @Phoenix71 the update itself shouldn't have caused any issues but the previous behaviour sounds like a disk related issue which is only likely to get worse over time and may require a replacement.
I'll drop you a direct message to get some more details and see what we can sort out for you.
Thanks
David
