Why do Sky entertainment channels show as 'Off Air' from 30th August but no maintenance issues on Sky website.

Hi @Fru2
Thank You for raising , the channels are expected to broadcast as normal on the EETV platform. The problem is a data issue impacting the EPG guide, which is why you are not seeing the correct schedule and programme information. The EETV team should be chasing their data providers for a resolution so you should see the correct data provided well ahead of the broadcast day.
I was wondering what the issue was, as I've noticed the same with the EPG for the Sky Sports channels. Most of them are showing as 'off air' from Saturday 30 August!
One of these days the entire EPG schedule will actually be correct one week in advance. If it's not 'off air' or 'no information available' it's full of just-plain-wrong information, most of which when corrected will wipe out any recordings you have set in advance. It's a major ongoing fault that severely impacts the usefulness of the system. If I was going on holiday today and not returning until the weekend I would miss almost all the programmes I'm actually paying good money for. Constant promises that it will soon be resolved, and it never is.
My recording of Monday Night Football cut out halfway through the buildup, fortunately I was home fairly early in the match and it was still 0-0 when I got in. Oh, and the League Cup recordings for tonight and tomorrow have both changed names and dropped off the planner. Luckily I noticed.
Most of the weekend schedule is up now, but the F1 qualifying on Saturday says "live Dutch GP" (implying the race) on Sky Sports F1 and "live British GP" on Main Event. We also have the somewhat contradictory "live GB3 Championship Highlights" to look forward to. No doubt all these incorrect names will be changed, which will cause the scheduled recordings to disappear. This is so far short of 'good enough' that I'm not sure the correct word exists. I'm this close to cancelling my contract.
My recording of MNF cut off after 57 minutes. I had set the programme which followed to record too as MNF invariably overruns, but that failed to record. I like to watch the pre and post match stuff at my leisure. I watched the match with the volume muted on my iPad as I was watching other tv with my O/H in the lounge. We’ve just been told that we can get FTTP at long last. I’m happy with the broadband, but I’m considering my options with tv now. Sky Stream looks more attractive at the moment with UHD for Sky Sports.
My scheduled recordings for this weekend's Sky Sports Premier League games have all dropped off my recordings list now, make sure they haven't done the same on yours. Luckily this time I've spotted it in advance so there's no harm done, but I shouldn't have to check the system every day to make sure this fault hasn't recurred. I will be away for a week shortly, and I see no point in scheduling any recordings from the Now channels, as there's almost no chance of them all recording correctly. The constant excuses that "it's not our fault, they'll sort it" feel increasingly hollow when the exact same issues occur every single week. Time I cancelled, I think.
Yep made my decision to consign NOW's SKY offering from this joke provider to the bin. It's beyond ridiculous.
