Can't change TV region

Hi,

I set up my bt tv pro box yesterday in WiFi mode and all appeared to work but, this morning, I've noticed that all the regional programmes I receive are london based and I'm in Yorkshire. I've checked the app and it shows my TV Region as London.

Having Googled this the advice appears to be to retune channels via settings, but when I access TV channels I do not have an option for that.

I've factory reset the box with no change.

Could anyone advise please?

What is your activation date? The TV region on your box should automatically correct itself overnight at the end of your activation day.

Thanks Darren.

I'll check tomorrow.  The activation date was yesterday so I'll give it 24 hours.

It turns out your account was one of a few affected by a bug that prevented it from picking up the correct region. This was fixed last night, and I can see that your box is now being offered 4 TV regions to choose from - select the option to retune in the settings, and you can now pick the one you prefer.
