Catch up apps stopped working

My original post is below. I did persevere with this and managed to work it out and successfully did the reset without losing my recordings. Took 2 or 3 goes but I did it. And everything seems to work as it should. Would dearly love to know why this happened but I suspect I will never find out. Thanks for looking but all OK now.

My catch up apps have all stopped working, including BT player.

Netflix still works but since I have never had a Netflix account this is of no use to me whatsoever. I just checked out of curiosity. 

I notice that someone did a factory reset without losing their recordings.

I've tried to follow the instructions but without being able to getinto the maintenance menu and I have no idea which youview box I own.

Can someone explain why this has happened and what I need to do please?

Thank you for posting. I'm sorry you had problems with the Catch Up Apps not working.

I'm glad to see that they are back working after the reset. It would be difficult to say what had caused the issue but if the problem reoccurs, please post back to let us know.
