EE Full Works TV Package with BT FF500 Broadband - TNT Ultimate NOT UHD 4K?

As per the subject line, I have FF500 with BT and a Full Works TV package. For months now the TNT Ultimate channel is not 4k. Is this correct?

It clearly shows within the 'Full Works Package Details' that Ultimate Sport is 4K UHD.

It's 4K

On Saturday I watched the Liverpool game in UHD on TNT

Not everything is broadcast in UHD but those that are can easily be identified

Admittedly I get mine free with my EE mobile but you should have no trouble getting it.

Not 4K for me unfortunately.

I've tried numerous events, even the Liverpool game at the weekend and it's not being broadcast in 4K on my BT Pro box.

Not sure why @Alex_H has marked this as Solved?

Cant speak for the pro box but on the Discovery app the Liverpool game was definitely available in UHD.

In fact getting UHD has never been an issue

Re: EE Full Works TV Package with BT FF500 Broadband - TNT Ultimate NOT UHD 4K?

@Puma937  The multicast delivery of the TNT  Sports Ultimate channel on the Box Pro  on  channel 465 (HDR 4K) or 433 (SDR 4K)  means that a fixed bandwidth is allocated to the broadcast  so your box should receive the advertised quality.  If you view TNT Sports Ulitmate via  an App then the apps normally adjust the quality dependent upon the quality of the bandwidth of the feed upto the maximum 4K.

So if you are not getting the expected quality then it maybe that the settings on your ProBox ( see Settings>Picture&Sound for the options you have ) or your TV settings for the HDMI port you are using for connection is affecting the viewing experience.
