EE TV Pro Box & IP channels

Go to solution

Hi, ive just switched over from sky to BT broadband and EE TV. I have the EE TV pro box and broadband, plus landline.

My activation date is tomorrow (30th September) for the Internet but the Internet is active and working today and managed to connect my devices. However I do not have an aerial but when in free to air channels and after connected the EE Pro box the connection is strong to the WiFi but it isn't picking up any IP channels and when I go to the guide just asks me to retune.

Is this because my activation date for the WiFi isn't until tomorrow or more likely that I am unable to receive free to air channels in mu area. I've checked freeview website and there are no faults, works or outages for my area.

Prompted with visit support.youvirwmcom and search "YVM305"

Just want some advice or help before contacting for someone to install an aerial.

Many thanks

The IPmode channels via the Box Pro will require BT or EE broadband line with an active EETV subscription.

So after your broadband is transfered over and after your EETV subscription is activated  is when you should get those channels. You may have to factory reset your box to enable this depending upon what you have done already in your earlier activation efforts.

Ok thank you. The EE TV subscription is active along with the NOW TV. Just the broadband activation date tomorrow. So I will try again tomorrow and factory reset.
