Are there changes to EE TV app both Android and IOS mobile versions as of this morning ?
Looks like a problem with recognition of older logon credentials.

Authentication for most BT systems migrated to a new platform yesterday. You will be asked to confirm your credentials, and also enable multi-factor authentication if not already enabled. Also, if your BT ID wasn't an email address before, it'll be forced to convert now.
Phew! I was wondering if it had been hacked. Converted on the app on my phone but it then took a Force Stop / Clear Cache to get the app on my old tablet up and running again. The app on my Youview box seemed to be unaffected.
I think a heads up that this was going to happen ahead of time would have been appreciated by its customers.
Unfortunately things didn't quite go to plan - the EE TV app didn't respond to the change in the way we expected. The experience should have been almost seamless.
An app update will be available later today to make it smoother for those who haven't launched it since Wednesday morning when the upgrade happened.
