Entertainment

I had a couple of letters about my contract.

It has the Entertainment Package at £9.45.  I always used to just the free equivalent - I have no interest in Netfix, Sky, Now etc and quite happy with iPlayer.

I rang in, it seems I have to Netfix etc and I think I have ended paying more though all very confusing.

Is there an equivalent to the old free entertainment package?

Re: Entertainment

Honestly if you're just viewing the "free" channels then you'd be better off ditching EETV/BTTV and just use iplayer on your TV (if you have a smart TV). Of course if you've had your Youview your box since before 2019 (with no replacements), then the box is yours to keep. You can use it as a basic Freeview PVR. If not, and you will have to return it, then look at buying a Firestick on Amazon's Black Friday sale and use that for iplayer.
