Re: Freeview channels with EE Entertainment package
Thank you Midnight. I already have BT Broadband so the natural choice would be to go for the EE Entertainment package. It will save me around £50 a month! Do you know if the Box Pro is included in the set up or would I have to purchase separately?

Re: Freeview channels with EE Entertainment package
@JoolsMc66 The Pro tv box will be included ( on loan). You will need to take out a 24 month contract for tv & broadband. Also, don’t be surprised if they try to persuade you to switch over from BT to EE.

Re: Freeview channels with EE Entertainment package
BT or EE supply a Box Pro as part of the package, for as long as you have a package with them.
EE will alternatively supply an EETV-adapted AppleTV box, but this doesn’t record, and doesn’t take an aerial, so you just get a subset of Freeview channels over the internet. Probably not what you want.

@JoolsMc66
We had someone else on here recently asking the same thing as you. You might like to have a look at what was discussed there to save going over the same ground again here.

Re: Freeview channels with EE Entertainment package
Just think in the long run you maybe better over just going with Now direct with discounts.
As said above Sky no longer seem to sell Sky Q to new customers.
Also the likes of an Amazon Firestick would be handy for you to have for all your apps.

Re: Freeview channels with EE Entertainment package
I took out sky cinema for £5 a month for 6 months directly via Now at the weekend. Effectively half price.

Re: Freeview channels with EE Entertainment package
Just remember the only way to get those Now channels on the EPG with channel numbers etc is to go via EE.
If you go via Now directly then whatever box you have you’ll have to go to the Now app to see them.

Re: Freeview channels with EE Entertainment package
Yes the same app you can watch in the bedroom, garden work...hardly a hardship..EE is a middle man with all the costs that entails.
