Indeed.
Full disclosure, I’m actually on EE broadband now, which is where I saw the same thing.
Nobody on the EE Community has reported it yet, though, probably having more pressing fish that won’t fry 😛
I don’t have enough juju over here, though, so I wonder if some kind BT Community Support person would pick this up and run with it for us?
Hi @northshields
Is it only when watching Iplayer through the BT TV box that you experience this problem?
Ali
@Ali_A As per my previous post on this thread I get the same issue as others on here, Press green on BT Pro Box on BBC channels doesn't restart the program it goes to iPlayer then kicks out back to live tv. However via my Samsung TV it works as it should green button takes you to iPlayer beginning of the program.

Thank you for taking an interest in this. I have checked things again this morning to make sure that I give you accurate information.
Yes, it is only when watching through the BT TV Box Pro that I experience this problem. I have a Sony TV and when pressing the green button on that it works perfectly. However, as others have reported, when pressing the green button on the BT TV Box Pro, the iPlayer logo comes up but then disappears and nothing else happens.
The Box Mini has the exact same problem.
But (in the smallest possible change I can make to go from not working to working) the TV on which I am displaying it works perfectly if I press the Green button when it is showing terrestrial TV.
Of course, that is also a change from iPlayer on the Box Mini to iPlayer on the TV.
Thanks for that @northshields @Midnight_Voice
I'll flag this up with the team.

Thank you for that.
It is clear from the posts on this thread that mine is not an isolated incident.
@northshields @zulu17 @Midnight_Voice @Ali_A my BT Pro Box just had a minor software Update (forced). The BBC green button is now working my be coincidence or the update has fixed it...
@Bluemoon1 @zulu17 @northshields @Ali_A @ney
I just put my Box Pro on to try this, and the Green button was working again.
Then I did a Software Update, which said there was one, and then spent quite some time updating it.
After which I tried the Green button again, and it was still working.
But the peculiar thing is it looks as if the Green button fix was independent of the software update, as it preceded it.
@Midnight_Voice Just tried a Pointless green button restart
....and it worked as expected.
I did report the problem to the BBC Iplayer and BBC Sounds support team yesterday so they would have been aware.
Will be interesting if we get an explanation.
