Re: How many channels should aerial find?

Rowridge transmitter, South region

DTR-T4000 -                     168 TV Channels (including 25 radio), 132 Subscription. Nothing above 733.

DTR-T2110 -                     168 TV Channels (including 25 radio), 131 Subscription. Nothing above 733.

LG C2 TV - Freeview         151 DTV, 25 Radio

                      Freesat            112 DTV, 34 Radio

                      LG Channels   183

LG GX TV - Freeview         142 DTV, 25 Radio

                      Freesat            112 DTV, 34 Radio

                      LG Channels   Present, but no count available

The C2 offers 9 extra IP channels over Freeview, which it finds from somewhere, which the GX doesn’t

I suspect the T4000 finds a UHD Subscription channel that the T2110 can’t get

The Pro box may find one more than this, hence 133

I can’t find which extra channel the YouView boxes find that the GX doesn’t  😢

If you have Adult channels suppressed, YouView will report 9 less channels than if you don’t, I find. As the LGs report these, I have unsuppressed them to get the above figures more in line.

I’m on BT Broadband, though not EE TV, but the EE TV channels are shown to me in the EPG anyway.

Re: How many channels should aerial find?

You can always rely on @Midnight_Voice for two things:

1: Accurate and historically accurate TV information.

2: To unsuppress adults channels

Jokes aside, great post mate.

Re: How many channels should aerial find?

@lufc87

Your 173 is close for "Leeds" (which is the Emily Moor transmitter).

The breakdown is:

BBC A  26
BBC B  11
D3&4   16
SDN    57
ARQ A  29
ARQ B  29
Local   5 to 7

which adds up to 173 to 175.

Re: How many channels should aerial find?

@Lսkе

There are no Local channels on Rowridge. So 168 plus 5 to 7 exactly matches your 173 to 175.
