ITV4HD not in channel list

Afternoon all.

I've been looking 4 ITV4HD - it isnt on my set top box - certainly not at channel 26 as i believe it is.

Following this thread

that suggests that a box reset with aerial removed would resolve this issue?

I've removed aerial and reset box - i now no longer have any channel numbers lower than 313!

Firstly is ITV4HD available on the EE/BT box (4k).  If so what channel is it?

Secondly why aren't the usual channels listed after an IP reboot?

I have the sport and HD/4k add ons

@JC_Derby  You would need a Pro box tv or box mini to get those missing channels in IP mode. ITV 4 is in HD on channel 26 on those boxes.

There are technical/hardware reasons why your box isn’t capable of delivering that I would imagine. The only reason that I’ve got our Pro tv box set up in IP mode is to be able watch the sport on ITV4  in HD. Why not ask them for a Pro tv box?

That's the nature of Freeview. The only channels in HD are BBC 1/2/3/4, CBBC, CBeebies, ITV1, Ch.4 & Ch.5. Everything else is HD. To get the ITVHD  and CH.5 variants is to use ip mode if you have a pro box, though you will get less channels compared to Freeview. You could get a Firestick or Roku stick and watch the channels in HD via the broadcasters apps.
