Migrating from Virgin, what sort of connection to the house will I need?

Go to solution

I'm looking to move from Virgin to BT for broadband and TV. My house has a Virgin cable coming in to it but I don't have a phone landline or TV aerial at all.

What would I need to have added in order to make the switch? Will I need new a cabling, an aerieal etc?

Thanks.

See this video for what will be done:

You can choose to watch EE TV without an aerial - see this page for the differences between aerial and internet mode:

If you decide you want an aerial, you can request one be installed via BT for a reduced rate:

have you checked that you can get an openreach full fibre connection before moving - if not enter address here and post results  https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

there will only be one cable as openreach will not use virgin cable and that will bring broadband and phone.  you may or may not need an aerial
