MotoGP potential scheduling changes

Catching up with the overnight practise sessions from Philip Island there was talk of there being strong winds on the Sunday and the possibility of the main race being rescheduled for Saturday.

Knowing how responsive the Youview box EPG is to late changes and how well the timer tracking behaves in such circumstances I thought it would be a good idea to give a heads up to keep a close eye on your timers for this event.  Hopefully the Discovery+ app will track reality more faithfully so all should not be lost.

Re: MotoGP potential scheduling changes

Latest is that the the main race remains on Sunday but has been put back an hour.

Still too early in the day for me to watch live - I don't pull all-nighters any more either for work or leisure.

EETV EPG still not updated to reflect the new race times.  🙄

Re: MotoGP potential scheduling changes

It didn't record correctly for me, I assume it didn't for anyone. Luckily they're on Discovery (I'm only just getting around to watching them now, very busy weekend TV-wise and I had to prioritise title deciders and stuff) so it's not a disaster, but still pathetic that the guide wasn't updated in time.

This weekend's Sprint (overnight on Saturday), Moto2 and Moto3 (both overnight on Sunday) are all showing as 'No Information Available' at present, so they need putting right. The scheduling issues we've been seeing recently haven't improved as yet, despite promises.

Re: MotoGP potential scheduling changes

People are probably already aware of the disruption to yesterday's race schedule following a horrible crash during the Moto3 warm up lap. Just to report that all the coverage of all three races is there on the app though the edit points do not exactly match the change of focus from one class to the next.
