New TV Box

Hi I placed an order for a new TV box that was due to be delivered today but Royal Mail say that it is delayed.

Will this mean that my service will be affected as I am worried that my old box will disconnect as the new service is due to start today.

Also what happens to my existing box once the new one arrives and i have had the service since early 2020 and i would like to know if I can use the box in another room for freeview services as i do not currently have a digital receiver in that room or do i have to send it back.

If you received the old box after 13/12/2019 then it is only on loan to you and BT will charge you for it if you fail to return it. If you got it before that date then it's yours to keep but you can only have one box connected to the network at a time unless you pay for Extra Room.

Your TV service will still work without the box as long as you have access to the required apps on (say) a firestick or smart TV
