Non synched english subtitles

I was excited to watch The Pitt on the new HBO max offering this morning but disappointed that the english subtitles are wildly unsynched making them unusable - any ideas ?

Are you watching the programme on the HBO Max app  on an EETV Box (if so which one the Box Pro or the Box Edge/Mini ?

Or are you using a different device ?

sorry im not sure what box I have - its labelled BT and can record programs - i was accessing HBO max via the NOW TV app
