I am new to BT/EE. Just got a Pro Hub & a mini hub.
I know I can’t record on the mini hub but assumed I would be able to watch recordings I have made on the pro hub. However, I cannot see any of the recordings when I go to My TV on the mini hub
Is Viewing not possible or am I doing something wrong?
Recordings can only be watched on the TV Box Pro. They cannot be shared with any other devices.
Thanks for confirming that.
BT/EE is the only service currently on offer where we have moved to. Beginning to regret signing up.
Broadband is great but TV leaves much to be desired compared to other providers. 🙁
You made the same mistake as most others in thinking EE is a Sky alternative..you now know there's no comparison.
The EE extra box is pretty pointless and vastly inferior to your bog standard streaming stick
We moved from Virgin rather than Sky but also a better offering. Would have stayed with Virgin but as I said, no other options currently available. I was aware of many of the limitations but did assume we would be able to watch recordings on other boxes. Not the end of the world.
Alternatively you could buy a brand new pro box on eBay or Cex for around £80.
The pro box is fundamentally a freeview recorder and works perfectly without a subscription.
With what you'll save on muti room it'll soon pay for itself
@Kodikid that of course relies on there being a TV aerial. With a subscription, the channels can be supplied via broadband.
Sky TV is always available as an option over any broadband provider, if EE TV isn't meeting your needs.
He already has a subscription
I was talking about a direct replacement for his current mini hub.
Also as Freely advances the need for an aerial will decrease
PS
As EE tv is officially the most complained about tv service it looks like it doesn't meet most people's needs
"officially" @Kodikid ?
Did I miss a report somewhere?
Apparently so
