How do you intend to get a picture?
@Tel2 When you say extenders, I take it that your box is set up via wifi rather than ethernet. My elderly neighbour is using wifi as the tv is on the opposite side of the lounge to the hub, and he’s having problems that I can only put down to that because otherwise his set up is the same as in our lounge. Good luck with it.
Has he got any LCD lamps in his lounge?
@Tel2Ok, that’s what I call mini connectors. We have that set up for our other box which is located in the extension at the rear of the house. We are only on FTTC and receive perfect pictures on TNT Sports Ultimate HDR there.
@Midnight_Voice Not as far as I’m aware. I’ve only been in during the daytime to try and help. I’ll have another look next time I’m in there.
The universally known name for these devices is PLAs, PowerLine Adapters (or Adaptors).
They work over your ring mains, which I hope is what @Tel2 means; he won’t get far by earthing them 😛
