Picture Judder

Hello,

I’m a recent convert from Sky having gone full- fibre etc. I’m currently on my second pro to box due to picture judder. This manifests on free view channels and streaming apps viewed through the box. This doesn’t occur when watching via the tv directly, ie the apps on the telly and free view don’t judder.

I believe this is a problem known to Bt but not one they’re taking really seriously?

@Mikell28 There's another thread on this somewhere. In the settings, have you got Frame Rate Matching set to on? There's a bug whereby watching content with either US or film rates (30 and 24 frames per second respectively) send to confuse the box. When you return too watching regular TV (25 fps), the picture judders and the picture quality seems to degrade. Rebooting is one answer. Turning off frame rate matching is another. The best answer would be a fix, though!
