Picture & Sound upgrade

Go to solution

I had a message flash up regarding upgrading picture and sound for, I think, £6 a month or thereabouts. I haven't seen it since and am unable to locate anything in the TV box settings or BT App that relates to it.  Is there any information anywhere please ?

Depending on your package, it'll be referring either to the HD add or, or Now Boost. Both options should be available to order in the My BT app or web site.

Tks... I have the full package anyway which includes HD and Now Boost. I think it refers to an add on call Ultra Hd but probably only works with Sport which I doubt will improve the picture quality I currently get.

I suspect you were shown the message by mistake then. Ultra HD is included in your package too.

Paying for HD in 2026 is ludicrous

The new sport and sport plus packages have HD included in the price from 25th September for BT customers on EETV kiddo.

@tuanton As you’re on the full package, it won’t affect you unless you choose to flex to one of the sports packages. Presumably adding the NOW Entertainment or Cinema options to sport or sports plus packages  will still require a separate HD add-on. It’s not made very clear though.
