Picture issues after watching apps on BT TV Pro

I've noticed lately that is we have been watching one of the apps on the BT TV Pro box for a while, when we return to Freeview channels, the picture seems juddery (like it's playing the wrong frame rate) with the picture quality reduced. It can be solved by rebooting the box, but I shouldn't need to.

Has anyone else seen this? Perhaps changing the frame rate back is causing issues? (Assuming so was matching to a US or film frame rate).

Not sure it is a box fault, but feels like the software needs a tweak.

yes been doing from day dot for me,go settings auto frame rate switch on then off or other way depending on settings ,the box gets stuck at 30p i.e watching amazon etc an don't always switch back to 25p

Thanks, @jonstannes. I'll try toggling that setting to see if that works - will be easier than rebooting.

At least I know I wasn't imagining it!

This bug has also been reported here, but I'm not sure if they have acknowledged it and are going to fix it.  It would be helpful  if they at least acknowledged it as a bug.   Otherwise the match frame rate option is just broken.
