I've put up with this for months.However,I would say that the faults have been less frequent recently and much more confident that when I "whizz" through the Adverts or "fiddle" with the Subtitles it may not cause any "glitch".

           A really really annoying thing for me is that when the people who get this problem (and there have been lots and lots of us)  call BT Helpline they still seem to get the advice to do a Factory Reset,Keeping Recordings (which we've all tried,short-term benefit only) and these people then get back to the Helpline and are sent a replacement Box,again from comments mostly not solving the problem permanently.These returned Boxes MUST end up on eBay and Amazon - check the 100s of (refurbished?) Boxes sold there.

          DarrenDev of EE (THE man who knows about these things) has been saying for months that there has been a known problem for ages and although improving is still not "cured" - why is Helpline not saying exactly the same thing not only when phoned but as a General Reply here??

I have had the problem of progammes returning to the beginning when trying to rewind and have been through the same advice. IE. Reset  which was carried out twice by EE to no avail and then a new box was supplied which made no difference.  The engineers that I spoke to were helpful but did not know or did not admit to the software problems. However, now that EE have spoken about the software problem I have tried turning off subtitles before rewinding and that appears to have stopped the problem. As I said in another post my problems only started with the EE Probox. My previous bt pro box was fine.
