Sound going on BT EE TV box

We have two boxes. Last night the first one lost sound watching tv through the box after what sounded like a crack. Still had picture. We then moved to other tv and the same thing happened after about an hour. Rest of apps all working fine. Switched off everything overnight and was working fine. Tonight the same thing has happened but we now can’t view through the bt box at (pink screen). TV is fine.

any ideas?

Pink screen means an HDMI failure. Try the following steps until hopefully one works

Make sure you are using the supplied HDMI cable, and it is securely plugged in at both ends, and not running close to any other cables that might carry a signal that would interfere with it..

Try another input on the TV.

Try another High Speed HDMI cable altogether.
