TV & Entertainment + HD & 4k = NOW HD?

Just joined BT/EE on Friday and have looked at historical posts about problems with NOW HD and am wondering about the latest state of play. I pay for the items on the left of the equation and am expecting to get NOW channels(not Sky Sport) in HD. I've been through the reboot router and TV Box Pro steps but the system(via the TV) reports a problem(2021 or 2017) with Alibi HD and for any other NOW HD channels it wants me to set them up and pay extra(£6) for HD on them. I'm already paying £9.99 for HD & 4k, do I really have to pay an extra 6 quid on top?

I haven't had BT TV for a while but IIRC, you have to order both add ons but you're only charged once.

Re: TV & Entertainment + HD & 4k = NOW HD?

Hi @LittleRobin  the first  key question is your broadband supplier BT or EE as the seperate BT Group companies have different EETV package offers and your answer will determine who is handling your contract.

Normally HD&4K addon is not automatically included in a (Now) Entertainment package and would be a typical £6/month addon. The normal recommended retail price for the Now entertainment package is £9.99 monthly. From what you describe you seem to have been setup with access to the SD versions of the Now Entertainment channels via your Box Pro EPG but not the HD ones. To complicate matters the HD&4K addon only refers to the EPG channels provision  and the seperate Now Boost addon provides higher quality and more simulataenous accesses to Entertainment content via the Now app. Also there is no current 4K channels from Now  available on EETV.
