Waking up on box
Watching tv and signal drops and says weak signal. Then the standby red light on the box goes blue and box goes into waking up. Then after a while the box comes on. The remote doesn't switch the box on while 1 blue light. This happens several time a night. Does any one know the cause or solution? We do find the wi-fi to our phones and tablet does fade in and out sometimes too.

Re: Waking up on box
Hi @BuzzieLizzie and welcome to our community.
Thanks for posting. Which STB are you using? Are you able to connect via cable?
Cheers

Re: Waking up on box
Hi David, It is the BT STB. I have not connected it directly to the box. I have been using a Comtrend plug to transfer the ethernet connection and I think a plug has failed. It is blinking green at the hub end but nothing on the ethernet light at the box end. Only green AP light. I shall try to move the hub into the same room and use the cable to directly connect. Sorry for troubling you. I'm not IT savvy.

Re: Waking up on box
Thanks for getting back @BuzzieLizzie .
It sounds like the adaptor is faulty but try the direct ethernet connection and let me know if that helps.
Cheers

Re: Waking up on box
Unfortunately we do not have a phone socket in the room. The one we have does not seem connected!

Thanks for getting back @BuzzieLizzie .
Do you happen to have a long ethernet cable? If not then you might have to replace the adaptors.
Cheers

Re: Waking up on box
Hi, I have stopped the CEC settings so that every time the box resets it doesn't change the channel and I have shared the aerial so the weak signal message doesn't come up. Also found out last night the telephone lines are being upgraded in the next village and lots of people have been dropping off and on for weeks! Who knows what the problem is!! Patience is a vertue I suppose. Thanks for all your help
