Good morning
I have recently renewed my BT broadband for 24months,
With it i get BT/EE TV added, The Entertainment package. Which includes Now TV Entertainment.
I already have NOW TV separately for many years, including Entertainment, Cinema and Boost.
My question is what happens to my Cinema and Boost that i currently am subscribed to, at the end of the current month? as they aren't included in the BT TV entertainment package, will it automatically be removed? and will i have to manually add Cinema via BT in future?
Im currently getting cinema for £3.99 direct from now.
on the Now tv app it says Cinema expires 28/05/2026..
Also how many screens come with the BT TV Entertainment , i believe its 2 ?
Thank you so much.
Craig
Solved! Go to Solution.
During the order process, you will have been asked to provide the email address to use for Now TV. If you provided the email address for your existing account, any existing deals will have been cancelled and any subscriptions already paid for the future will be refunded. You'll then be charged full price going forwards for any add-ons not included in your EE TV subscription.
If you used a different email address for the order then your existing account will carry on as it is, and your new EE TV subscription will be on the other account. You'll need to switch between them accordingly.
thank you for your swift response Darren!
Does that mean the cinema and boost will automatically roll over and be charged to my BT account/bill at full price? or do i have have to manually add them ? as i don't want to pay full price for cinema and boost. and i see i can no longer cancel the cinema and boost from my NOW TV app!
How many screens are permitted with the Entertainment package with Bt?
Thanks again
Yes, they'll appear on your bill at full price. When you say you cannot cancel them in the Now TV app, why is that? It should be possible. If you'd like me to take a look, email me at eetvsupport@ee.co.uk with your account number. I can also cancel them if needed.
The permitted screens rules are a little complicated, as it depends on where you started watching first. See the description here:
Hey thanks
So BT will automatically continue my extra subscriptions (cinema, boost)from my NOW Tv account?? unless i cancel?
I only renewed BT Broadband a few days ago, and on the NOW TV account page it says you'll need to make any membership changes through bt/ee account.
As i only renewed my BT broadband a few days a go it says "i have an order in progress" maybe thats why? i believe my completion /activationdate is 19th may.
Thanks Darren, this is all new to me
Orders that include EE TV are processed within a few minutes, to allow you to use the service straight away.
Send me an email anyway, just so I can double check what's happened - email eetvsupport@ee.co.uk with your account number, and the email address of your existing Now TV account. I'll confirm with you exactly what's happening, and you can let me know if you want anything to be changed.
Thanks, I will email you now
