Just in case you weren't aware, IP mode won't work either, so you'll have to use an aerial.

Think people are getting confused with now through EE which isn't allowed access to UHD content, and buying now tv directly and accessing it through the now app on the pro box which shows UHD perfectly .

Any device with access to the now app which is UHD capable will show sky UHD content

Last I knew, NOW hadn't updated the app on the EE TV boxes to support UHD - regardless of subscription type. I can't say definitively that they haven't updated it since. Only someone with a UHD sub could say for sure.

No confusion, I'm afraid you're assertion is simply wrong, as confirmed by Now's list of supported devices.

As @DarrenDev says, the Now app has never supported UHD on the Pro Box & still doesn't. UHD content simply isn't offered

So, are the boxes sold ( as new)on Amazon not strictly legit - these are not via ' marketplace' . There is nothing to suggest that these are not a legitimate product?

@homerhotspur their origin is unknown. But no - they're not legit.  The TV Box Pro has never been offered for sale via any platform - they have only ever been manufactured for the purpose of loaning as part of an BT/EE TV subscription.

Ok, thank you. On another, related, topic, If I decide not to renew my tv subscription, can I buy the existing box off BT if I remain a BB customer?
