problem recording some channels

What recordings weren't working?

 Presumably trying to record a free to air channel from the guide but with no aerial that won't work and internet recording of free to view channels is not yet available on the Pro box (or any other Youview box).

It was Showcase HD.  I can record Showcase but not the HD version.  I can watch Showcase HD by the way just not record it

This morning I have taken yn Pro box into work and connected to a live antenna and TV and still cannot get past the Start Set Up Button. I'm clicking OK but it's going nowhere.

Faulty box perhaps?

Problem solved!  After I did the box reset it unpaired itself from the remote without my realising so I just needed to pair it again and it let me complete SETUP (after several minutes of Ryland!!).   

For future reference for anyone it doesn't ned a valid signal via the aerial in socket to complete SETUP but I did connect a antenna cable with nothing on the other end it case it was looking for something on that port.

Fingers crossed everything should be OK when I get home 🙂
