I need an attenuator and have seen one at my local Toolstation.
However on the photo it seems to have screw threads on the aerial input / output. Will it still use the normal aerial connections?

Please edit out the direct website link, as its not permitted on this forum.
You could take a screenshot, and post that instead.
Its not suitable for the BT TV box as it has the wrong connectors.
Thank you Keith
I don't know the attenuator you are referring to, but from your description I would guess that they are "F" connectors, as used on satellite equipment.
B&Q sell one with suitable connectors, (known as "Belling-Lee), search their website for:
"Aerial Cable Variable Attenuator 0 20dB Coaxial Coax RF Digital TV Freeview"
Yep, the Toolstation one, for satellite connectors. Needs a screwdriver to work it, so strike 2.
