total loss of service - can i sue?

Hello

I recently was able to negotiate a change to my package, in order to get the sports package removed. Unfortunately the whole service was removed on 24/5/24  instead, leaving me with no channels.

An engineer has been round but left without being able to fix the issue.

After numerous phone calls, the service was due to be switched back on on 7/6/24 but this didn’t happen. I was then told it would be switched on on 17/6/24 but that didn’t happen either.

Currently, customer services have told me that theres nothing they can do to switch my tv services back on.

Question is, can I sue for breach of contract? If I didn’t meet my responsibilities I would expect to be pursued for the cost of the contract – does it work the other way around?

Re: total loss of service - can i sue?

I'm on holiday this week, but I have my laptop with me. Please email me at tv.apps@ee.co.uk with your account details and I'll sort it as soon as I'm home this evening. I can't sort your bill, but I can at least activate the service straight away.
