A new (meaningless) error message

I think our patience with BT is remarkable.  Severable months now and it is still worse that before the upgrade.

It is though, quite remarkable how they can still surprise us:  I have now received a message saying "Syntax error in parameter or arguments to RCPT command".

Anyone got any ideas what it means?  It is successfully stopping me sending one email, lots of others are fine.

I’m not a specialist in email but I believe that command specifies who the mail is being sent to.  “Syntax” basically means it’s failed to understand the command.  Either that’s an error in what you’ve entered or an error in the way the command has been written in the software.
