Email problems on webmail

My Talk21 email is working fine via the app on my tablet, but I'm getting more and more problems using  it on the web.   I'm getting more and more "we're having trouble with the service, please try later" messages, and composing messages has become a complete nightmare - the cursor keeps jumping back to the start of the message, and fonts change randomly from line to line. Is anyone else having the same issues?

Re: Email problems on webmail

If you have a read through this massive thread you will see that the problems you have mentioned have been on going since BT "updated" their email sytem.

BT Webmail Feedback v2 (post 16th April release) - BT Community

If you read this thread you will see that there have been a number of "updates" to the "update" but there are still out standing issues, including the "jumping cursor".

Webmail migration update - BT Community

A further update was due a few months ago but so far it has never materialised however a request as per this thread

Webmail Update - Release Date? - BT Community

for any update on when the update to update the update has be sought so hopefully this will happen at some point.

Meanwhile I would suggest that you install an email client/app such as the free Thunderbird email client on to your PC/Laptop and use that at least until the "update" to fix the problem is rolled out.

As you already use an email app on your tablet you will know the benefits of an  email client as against a web browser to access your BTMail.

Re: Email problems on webmail

Thanks for your reply. I suspect that there might be some messages from me somewhere near the start of that massive thread! I've had these issues and more  before, but everything has actually worked fine for a very long time so  I'm really puzzled why they should suddenly come back again.

Apart from the fact that I find using a web browser more convenient anyway, using an app as work around sadly isn't an option when I'm at work, as the wifi there will only allow me to get at my emails on the web, and mail apps are blocked.
